Scientific Project Manager
Help build the operating engine behind a first-of-its-kind venture philanthropy platform for rare disease. Reporting to the CEO, you'll sit at the center of a collaborative scientific ecosystem — coordinating programs across partner institutions and our initial portfolio of rare disease projects. This isn't traditional project management: it's building the systems, discipline, and accountability that let a milestone-driven scientific portfolio scale. Remote contract to start, with potential to grow into a full-time role as we do.

Technology & Innovation Manager
Help build and execute the technology infrastructure behind a first-of-its-kind venture philanthropy platform for rare disease. Reporting to the CEO, you'll help turn ambitious ideas and emerging technologies into real platforms and capabilities that accelerate research and therapeutic development, starting with direct-to-patient technology platforms connecting patients to genomic testing, data, researchers, trials, and treatments. You'll also manage a growing portfolio of initiatives spanning AI, machine learning, genomics, organoids, and digital health with our academic, clinical, and technology partners. This is a builder role, not a traditional IT or PM position. This role is for someone who can work across scientists, clinicians, engineers, and leadership to make complex ideas executable.

Chief Scientific Officer
Serve as the senior scientific leader for Rare Ventures, shaping and executing our scientific and therapeutic development strategy. Reporting to the CEO, the CSO will lead the identification, evaluation, funding, and advancement of high-impact scientific and therapeutic opportunities across our rare disease portfolio. We're looking for both a scientific visionary and an operator. The ideal candidate is someone with the judgment to spot transformative science and the rigor to ask what it takes to move it forward: the unmet need, the biological hypothesis, the milestones, the risks, and the right combination of science, capital, and partnerships to accelerate the path to patients. This leader will help build not just a portfolio of funded projects, but a portfolio of therapeutic opportunities capable of becoming treatments, companies, and ultimately cures.
